26e3408196 Allow containers-unicode-symbols #58 
We need to be able to select which flags to pass based on the selected core
packages, so that we can pass containers-old.

a609f1fc0c Check for version conflicts ourselves. 
This was done by cabal-install previously. But doing it ourselves, we gain a
few things:

* Found out about problems faster.
* Get a complete list of problems, including tests.
* Much more user-friendly output.
